The Town of Rockland only collects full payment or first payments. All second payments or late payments are made to the Brown County Treasurer via the following:
Your tax bill (annual Christmas card from the County) should arrive around December 10. If you do not receive it by December 17, please call the County Treasurer Office at 920-448-4074 to check where it is. Every year bills get lost in the mail. It is your responsibility to pay your taxes on your property.
Treasurer Van Dyck will be collecting the taxes for the Town of Rockland. You can pay by mail, or Mary will be at the Town Hall from 8:30 – 4:00 on December 22, 23, 29, 30, and 31. She will also be at the Town Hall on January 29 and 30 from 8:30 – 4:00. The address to send the taxes by mail is Town of Rockland, 1712 Bob Bea Jan Rd., De Pere, WI 54115. Please include a self-addressed stamped envelope if you want a receipt. The County will not accept payment for the Town of Rockland taxes.
Please make payment by check or exact cash amount. No change will be made. If you want to pay with a credit card, you must do that online. My preference is check. Thank you.
When you receive your bill, look it over. If your home in the Town of Rockland is your primary residence, make sure you have a lottery credit on the bill. It is up to you to claim the lottery credit. You only need to claim the lottery credit once. Then every year it should be on your tax bill.
If you have any questions, please call Mary at 920-609-1478.
